The “Shipping From Bali” Team have just finished stuffing a personal effects container consolidation for two of our clients moving from Bali to NZ
Whist both the shipments where small sometimes the method of shipping your personal effects or household goods in your own sole use container or a agent consolidated container is actually cheaper than shipping via the LCL (loose cargo method) the reason behind this is
- All LCL shipments required to be crated adding to the cost.
- LCL shipments are handled by a 3rd party consolidator and are handled again in Singapore for Trans-shipment.
- Destination port charges are higher for LCL
- Shipping in your own container is safer and less risk of damage than LCL
Generally any shipment over 8-10 cbm is just as cost effective Door to Door as shipping a sole use container.
Once shipping from Bali completes our survey or receives your shipment details we determine the best, safest, and most cost effective method for you and your cargo.
